Fun Activities on a Rainy Day

A rainy day seems to always dampen the mood however in Kansas City you won’t have that problem.  There are plenty of enjoyable activities like street fairs, amusement parks and even attending professional baseball games.  However, if you show up in Kansas City planning on a day in the sunshine and yet you’re met with rain clouds do not get discouraged. There are plenty of the indoor activities for the whole family.

1.     The Kaleidoscope- Giving your kids the chance to create art is a once in a lifetime opportunity especially when they can be done in many different ways.  Kids can be inspired by the Country House or the Outer Space Room and as long as your kids have an imagination, this will be a day they never forget.

2.     Sea Life Aquarium- The sea is brought to life when the Midwest bring sure over 5,000 types of sea creatures in 30 amazing displays which transport you and your family on an amazing journey beneath the ocean.

3.     Great Wolf Lodge- This indoor water park is always above 80°and has several pools and even has a tree house that is interactive.

4.     Game Zone- The Great Mall plays host to this mega-arcade this sits inside 8000 square feet.  In fact, the mall even has a skating rink, which is only for kids age 13 and under.

5.     Science City- Everyone loves science and here kids can explore every aspect that science has to offer, from dinosaurs to the solar system.  When it’s all said and done, you might be asking for more rain so you can spend more time inside.
