to frequent thrift stores.  Whether you go to match your wardrobe or search for vintage records, you can save money at every turn.  Thrift shopping is fun but to some people it’s also considered a hobby.  Some people look to get rid of some of the things that they don’t need and thrift stores are one of the places that they drop this stuff off at.  So if you’ve never been to one of these stores, be prepared to be in complete awe (and of course save lots of money).

Here are some stores in the Kansas City area that you should take a look at when you’re in town next.

City Thrift located at 1229 E. 63rd Street - This huge thrift store is all about furniture.  It doesn’t matter whether you’re looking for a bed or something simple like a chair, they have it all.  The best thing about it is everything is priced cheap.

Community Thrift located at 8011 Wornall Road - This thrift store is just ¼ mile down the road from the Red Racks thrift store.  This location is best known for its appliances and household items.

Red Racks located at 8026 Wornall Road - This thrift store is great for people who are looking for clothes.  This includes other items like costume jewelry, handbags, shoes and vintage items. So if you’re looking for cheap, retro clothing, take a look here.
